Subcontract Conversion from GMP to Lump Sum

During the subcontractor award phase of the project the curtain wall subcontractor was awarded a $21M contract on a GMP basis. Over the course of bidding out the remainder of the project, the contractor and Curtain Wall subcontractor made a request to convert the GMP contract to a Lump Sum contract. They offered a $250K credit from their original contract amount.
