RFP Creation, Review & Scoring, and Contract Review

We assisted the city park and recreation department in creating the Request for Proposal process (RFP) for the selection of the general contractor for the project. In addition, we assisted in reviewing and scoring the RFP responses for selection of a contractor. The selection process resulted in the city selecting the best qualified contractor and also the best financial value.

We also helped update the city’s current AIA 102 and 201 contracts to best practices contract terms and conditions related to costs of work and change order language. This process resulted in a contract that was fair to all parties and helped reduce costs and risk for the project.
